While my family was here for the Baby Shower at the beginning of March, we had a bit of Wii fun. My Dad really got in to the soccer and skiing with WiiFit. Shelby also had a go at soccer and is pretty darn good!

Snow!!!

We actually got a little bit of snow the last Sunday and Monday in January. It didn't last very long, but it was beautiful while it did last. I was home sick on the 26th and got to enjoy it for a short time. Yay! Now - if only we'd get a nice big storm!

The Crib...

We've decided that, for the first month or two at least, the crib will be in the den which is a little warmer than the nursery. We also plan to have the cradle my Grandparents gave me as a little girl in our room with us. That is, of course, if we can find it at my parent's house! For those of you who know what my parent's house is like, you know what I mean. I know that my oldest niece, who is now 18-1/2, used it as a baby. After that, I don't know where it went... Wish us luck!!

Jeff Dunham - Live!

Jim's big Birthday/Christmas present was tickets to see Jeff Dunham the day after Christmas in Denver. My parents had reserved a room at a hotel in the Tech Center but later decided that, due to my mom having a bump taken off her foot for biopsy, it wouldn't be a good idea to visit Denver for the weekend after all. They were kind enough to keep it for one night so that Jim and I had somewhere a little closer to stay after seeing the 2nd Jeff show at 10:30 Friday night! Thankfully Jim was starting to feel a little better after his week-long cold. We met at the hotel and had a blast at the show.

Time-Lapse Wii Bowling

I got the idea a couple Sundays ago to record a time-lapse of Jim and me Wii bowling. Though you can't really tell, I believe I won this game...even if it was by just 1 point! :-)

Dogs

Nala seems to have a love/hate relationship with the vacuum cleaner. She can't stop barking at it, but doesn't run and hide from it either!

The pretzel! Apparently there was an issue with Pepper stealing a pretzel from Nala as I arrived at Shell's on Friday. On Sat., Shell decided to see what would happen with 4 dogs and a pretzel!

Baking Weekend

Baking "Day" has really turned into more of a Baking "Week" for Shell. Tara, Linda, Emily and I helped out last Friday to get the weekend started.

Thanksgiving!

Friday night, Jim & I took my Mom & Dad to see the Greeley Grizwald's Christmas display.

Jim and I decided to watch Garfield on TV a while back. Shortly in to the movie, I noticed that Zack was watching very intently! I guess he likes Garfield!! From the time I noticed him on, it was all I could do to not watch HIM instead of the movie! What a goofy kitty!

Halloween! Less than 2 months late...I think that's pretty good!

This is a house in Greeley that Jim introduced me to this year. I guess he learned about their Christmas display, set to music you can listen to on your car radio, last year and was anxious to see it again. I think their Halloween display is pretty impressive, too! We decided to check it out while my Dad was in town. My videos don't really do it justice, so check them out here for more!

As per tradition, Jim and I spent Halloween with Shell and Rich. We watched Sleepy Hollow, ate kraut burgers Rich made, and passed out candy. It was a nice way to get my mind off having lost Mahleah just the day before, even if for a short time...

Jenn and Brandon welcomed Benjamin and Tristan shortly after 7 pm on September 23rd. Jim was kind enough to drive me down to Littleton (my tired self would never have made it on my own!) and we got to meet the little ones shortly after they were born. They are now home and the last I heard are doing well. Can't wait to see them again!!!
